I find simplicity mesmerizing. In it you can't really hide - all flaws and mishaps are going to be obvious with any simple form. Besides that, simplicity is the foundation of it all, be it animation or evolution. Clean and stable is what you build on afterwards.
So after seeing several multi-elemental motion works online I figured this is a perfect way to train myself in understanding and producing simple but more correct with each exercise elements. I took simple shapes and motion graphics approaches and comped them together in a "digital sketchbook" so I can see the result for each sit down. I won't promise myself to make one exercise each day but rather give time to see which motions interest me (or I have trouble with) the most for the next sit down.
... and it's just fun to make too.
